In Photoshop there are many ways to make a under exposure photo to be back to its right exposure for example we can use curve or level as we learned in DIM2 class. But these solutions are quite difficult for the beginner. That is the reason why in this entry I will show you the easiest and fastest way to save an under exposure photo through out only 3 steps.
This is the original photo, as you can see, it is under exposure.
Step 1: open your photo with Photoshop, and then duplicate the original layer
Step 2: change the blending mode of the new layer to Screen mode
Step3: edit the opacity of the new layer until you are satisfied with your photo's exposure.
This is the photo after edited, actually it look so bad on the your screen because the blogspot does not provide an exact color of my photo. Just experiment on your own display.
